You can tell a scout what kind of player you are looking for. If you tell him to look for a certain type of player (for instance a winger) he will mostly show you this type of player but, generally, they will be a bit poorer. On the other hand, the chances of finding a superstar are bigger if you order him to look for a specific type of player.
