Does Region matter? »
All regions are equal. There are no regions that are better than other regions.
Every region has its own type of weather which is updated daily. The weather can differ from one region to another but all the matches played in the same region will have the same kind of weather. The probability of rain or sun is the same for all regions.
Weather affects fan turnout on match days. The worse the weather, the fewer the fans. Weather can also have an effect on game events relating to some player specialities (Powerful, Technical and Quick).
Finally, region affects home field advantage. If the two teams participating in a match are from different regions the home team will get a home field advantage, disguised as a midfield boost. If both teams are from the same region the away team also gets a midfield boost.
