Fan mood and finances »
Fans are affected by the clubs finances.
Fans of a wealthy club will be harder to please. They will be more responsive to defeats and less to victories than the fans of a poor club. The richer the club, the more powerful these reactions get.
This feature has been implemented to minimize the possibility of extreme tactics. Eg that a team in a lower division saves up a bunch of money and then suddenly buys an entire new squad with star players to try and win the Cup. This phenomenon was previously known as Kamikaze tactics.
Wealthy clubs have to choose between using the money to succeed in the game or tolerate a lower fan mood as long as they save up money.
This effect will be gradual and unnoticeable to the majority of clubs.
