The TSI of a player will rise if he receives training and/or stamina or if he is improving his form. Training and stamina is up to you to decide but the form of a player changes very much on random, making the TSI shift too.
Form and stamina has a big impact on TSI. Eg a player with non-existant stamina can have a TSI of zero even though his mainskill is supernatural.
