There are some special rules regarding salaries for national team players.
His team will pay his salary (as usual) unless he participates in an international match. Then the national team will pay 40% of the player's salary (33% if the player is a foreigner due to the 20% extra salary paid by his team). The national team will pay this amount even if the player only participates for a few minutes.
If a player is injured during an international match his team will be compensated for 100% of the player's salery (per week injured). You will be paid according to how long the injury time is expected to be. You can then spend the money on employing doctors in order to reduce the injury time. It is possible then to be compensated for more than the actual injury time - this happens more often for U20 players.
