Exclusive chances »
In all matches there is a number of open chances and a number of exclusive chances. Both teams get a number of exclusive chances that the opposing team can not win. The open chances can be won by either of the teams. The number of exclusive chances is the same for both teams and analysis indicates that both teams get 5 exclusive chances each.
When your team gets an exclusive chance the midfield will compete for the chance. If your opponent wins it you will have lost the chance, however your opponent will not get it as a chance for himself and the chance is merely lost. The other way around you can not win your opponents exclusive chances either.
If your competitor wins one of his exclusive chances, you still have a chance to ruin it for him if you use the pressing tactic. Beyond that you have the opportunity to make a counterattack on one of your opponents exclusive chances if your defence successfully defends it and you are playing the contra tactic.
