Following a match each player receives a number of stars to illustrate how well he performed in the match.

The performance of a player is not static throughout the match because he can get tired if he lacks Stamina. That is why players usually perform better at the beginning of a match.

A players total number of stars indicate his average performance, while the yellow colored stars indicate his performance toward the end of the match.

An example: Player has a total of 5 stars in the match report, three are yellow and two are brown. This means that on average he performed to a 5 star rating, but this dropped to a 3 star rating toward finish. He would have performed better on average if he had had more Stamina. Or his average performance would have inproved if he had only played part of the match, because he wouldn’t have gotten tired.

Most players become tired towards the end of the match.

Very rarely players receive a number of red stars. These are to illustrate that the player performed better toward the end of the match than he did on average. This phenomenon can be triggered by extra time, substitutions or positive Weather Events.
Star rating is not influenced if players contribute less because of crowding.
