After the changes in season 41 it has not yet been revealed how many chances there are in a match. Previously there where always 10 'regular' chances in a match, five in each half. However surveys suggest that today there are only 15 'regular' changes per match (5 unique to each team and 5 shared chances)

All chances are not necessarily mentioned in the match report. Only chances resulting in a goal, or a close call, will be mentioned.

Besides the regular chances there are non-tactical random chances such as counterattacks, long shots and Special Events.

Free kicks and penalties are counted as regular chances. Corner kicks on the other hand are counted as Special Events.
