Drawing back »

When you are in the lead in a match you can experience an event like this: ”Confident in their lead, team name decided to play a more defensive game at this point.”

This will increase defence ratings and lower the attack ratings. Midfield will not be influenced.

If your team draws back during the first half just to see the opposing team take the lead before half time, things will be back to normal in the second half.

Drawing back is determined by the goal difference in the match, which the table below shows.

Goal Difference Number of cases Number of 'drawing backs' The likelihood of 'drawing back'
1 332.384 0 0%
2 212.245 42.339 20%
3 115.796 46.298 40%
4 48.772 29.392 60%
5 13.977 11.174 80%
6 2.016 2.016 100%
